Bulawayo has preserved so much of its colonial architecture, you walk around and start to feel like you’ve taken a step back in time. It’s one of the prettiest cities I’ve seen in Africa.
I'm a California-born writer currently traveling to South Africa, Swaziland, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Ethiopia and Egypt. You can email me at lanre3@gmail.com

If you like the blog (and I hope you do), I'll need help to keep blogging and traveling. Unfortunately, there's a cost to writing stories and creating photo journals. By supporting Gym Socks and Minibuses, you keep the stories, photos, and videos coming. I can't do it without you!
The reason why the streets are so wide in Bulawayo is so that a cattle drawn cart can turn around in the street.
My GOD! That picture is amazing!
